As usual, a day or two before the festival begun, Sibu express boat terminal will be flooded with Iban people going back to their long houses near upstream, such as Kapit, Dalat, Kanowit and etc which can only be connected via water transport to celebrate the biggest festival in their culture.
I took some photos on the situation at the terminal 2 days before the festival begin. Hereby, I wish all my Iban friends Selamat Hari Gawai, Gayu Guru Gerai Nyamai and Happy Holiday!
Have you ever been long house celebrate the festival with them before ?! actually 华团 got organized this kind of event, go next year, haha ...
