In the last episode of Ga-lien's adventure, Ga-lien was disappointed with the human and decided to get out from the earth with his spaceship with very sad heart yet still wishing them the best. The story continue...
Ga-lien was on his way back to the planet of Mars to meet with his respectful master - The Fal-lien. The Fal-lien is the one behind the whole drama. It was the one that educate Ga-lien to be what it is right now. It is also the only one who care for Ga-lien the most. Whenever Ga-lien facing problem in his life, Fal-lien is the one he turned to for advices whereas whenever Fal-lien needs help, Ga-lien is the one he seeks for help. Because trusting each other, Ga-lien will never question about the demands made by Fal-lien because he was pretty sure that Fal-lien will always think the best for him.
Ga-lien couldn't wait to see Fal-lien after 1 year left the planet of Mars to share his experience on earth. Ga-lien had a good spaceship navigation skills (well, at least he claimed himself is), he sped up the spaceship hopefully can reach the planet as soon as possible. He kept sounding the space-horn towards those low performance spaceships who he accused driving slow and blocked his way towards the Mars!
However, something unexpected happened! Ga-lien suddenly felt that his spaceship loses its momentum to go foward no matter how hard he stepped on the throttle. 5 seconds after that, both left and right engine suddenly halted! The lights and the electronic systems inside the spaceship totally offline! He could see nothing but the dark in front of him.
Ga-lien was panic! The anti-gravity system couldn't function. His spaceship now is free fall back to the earth! Ga-lien tried to cool himself down and think what went wrong. He realized that the only reason that may cause engine halt is the lack of fuel. Perhaps it was a miscalculation by Ga-lien himself where the volume of fuel needed to fly from earth to Mars was calculated base on RON97 usage but the fuel injected into the spaceship was RON95. RON95 caused fuel combusts prematurely and produced "knocking" on engine which increased the fuel consumption.
It was human's fault! They were using the non-standard fuel which caused the miscalculation!! Otherwise Ga-lien will never count it wrongly.
Ga-lien had no other choice. His spaceship broke through the atmosphere and finally reach the earth. He was back to a place he already used to! "Maybe this is my destiny", Ga-lien thought. It was a destiny to be the savior again!
He understand it will be a very hard mission, but for Ga-lien, that doesn't matter. What matter now was he got the sign from the ancestor to accomplish this mission. He don't mind to be hurt again as long as he could help the evil human.
He stepped out from the spaceship, in his hands was a piece of cheese that had changed the way he looked at the life entirely!
Now, Ga-lien's mission back to the planet of Mars was officially invalided! The time for his landing on Mars Aerospace Center already overdue! He couldn't go back now even with his spaceship fully pumped with RON97. He just have to wait until the next valid date which will be scheduled in the future.
For the time being, Ga-lien will just have to stay on earth and continue his human-saving legend! This is the last chance he gave to human. If they still don't want to change, Ga-lien promised that he will leave the earth for good!
Ga-lien is back!!!

A Story From Mars...
It has been quite some times I did not tell you a story. Here is one which I suddenly think of today. Hope you like it. Here we goes! ......
Once upon a time, in a corner of the earth, an alien named Ga-lien from the planet of Mars was quietly landed. The purpose of the intrusion was unknown, but it was believed that Ga-lien came all the way just to save humanity from being destroyed by human themselves.
At that time, human were at the dark age! Morality among human almost collapse and wars can be seen everywhere. The leaders on Mars realized about the fact that each planet in this universe are inter-dependent. If the earth destroyed, Mars might be in trouble as well.
Thus, they sent their mighty species who has broad knowledge about humanity to the earth with the hope that he can become the savior of Homo sapiens by changing their thought, thus saving the earth from being destroyed by its own species.
With full responsibility and dedication, Ga-lien started his vital mission just after he touched down on earth. He tried all his best to change human's mind and educate them the importance of peacefulness.
Time flies! One year had passed. Over the past year, Ga-lien kept reminding himself about his great mission to the earth. Despite receiving a lot of sneering and cursing from the evil human, Ga-lien never gave up and treated all these with patient! He knew he is the only one who can save the universe! For the sake of continuity of the universe, he is ready to sacrifice himself!
However, the harder Ga-lien tried to be the savior, the worse the human became! Wars already out of control. Demonstration were everywhere throughout the entire globe to protest the existence of an alien on earth. Voices of requesting Ga-lien to return to its own planet can be heard everywhere!
Ga-lien suddenly felt so upset for the human. No matter how hard he tried, human never wanted to change. His heart dropped to the deepest. He was exhausted after one year's trying. He started to lose his passion and direction to save these people.
Ga-lien's heart was bleeding just like it had been stabbed with a sharp knife! He got no choice but to admit his own failure in changing human's mind. He felt disappointed and helpless. Suddenly the idea of leaving the evil planet struck his mind!
He was not sure if it is the right choice, but everytime he tried to help, human would just hurt him deeper. He was exhausted, totally exhausted! Not only physically, but mentally as well. He contacted his leader, Liu-lien on Mars with his Gokia G-4k, the standard telecommunication device used in Mars, reporting about his failure and requesting for the quit. After discussion, the leaders had no choice but to accept his decision.
With the help of the largest television network on earth GNN reporting about the news, within an hour's time, the entire planet aware about the news already. Celebration parties started to be seen and it spread to every corner of the world.
Ga-lien's heart broke into pieces. The Homo sapiens misunderstood his good deed and treated him as a threat! He knew only by leaving them will make them feel happy.
The leaving day finally came! With very heavy heart, Ga-lien stepped slowly towards its spaceship "The Voyager No.1"! He felt sad but human just cheers for his leaving and none of them ask him to stay to continue his good deed. He now realized human were too evil and he couldn't save them anymore.
Although he did feel hard to leave, but without much hesitation, Ga-lien started the engine and speed all the way out from the evil planet of earth! Although he had left the planet for good, yet inside his heart, he forgave the human for their sins and evilness. He sincerely wish them the best, and hopefully one day, they will awake and realize their mistakes thus make the earth a peaceful planet and better place to stay! Only by then, the universe will be long lasting.
"I will be back!", Ga-lien told the evil human just before he left! Although no one really know what was that mean, but they knew that if one day the earth still need a savior, Ga-lien for sure will be back to serve them without further questioning!! He will be back if you need him!

Mac Mini For Top Programmer
Did you ever see how a Mac mini actually look like? Honestly I never saw or heard Mac mini before until currently company bought one.
This Mac mini is specifially for company's "top programmer". He's the only one has been given special permission to touch and operate this modern machine (Of course the boss get to touch it first). He's using this machine to develop iphone application. Well, I guess this is the advantage to be company's "top programmer" as you have the rights and priority to explore and use the latest technology.
As for me who is just a small application programmer, I just have the chance to take a look at it from far. Honestly I haven't touch it until this moment of writing! How poor I am!
However, luckily I managed to "steal" some photos on this Mac mini to share with you all while the "top programmer" was away doing his "business" at the back.
Don't be jealous... if you want to use it, be the top programmer la!

A True Original Supporter
Suddenly thought of telling a story...

Once upon a time.. in one corner of the earth, it lived a guy named Myso. Myso is a guy who claimed himself as an original products supporter. From time to time he urged people around him to buy original products. However, they not really agree with him as most of them can't afford to buy original with poor income. So, they complaint to Myso, "We can't afford to owned original software! You see, we used MS Office, Photoshop, Flash and so on but the licenses cost few thousands! Where to find money for that?"
With very steady voice and tone, Myso shared with them how he can afford original software. He shouted, "One day collect one dollar la! Don't tell me you can't do that? I am doing it, so can you!"
"Oh ya, what a brilliant idea! Why we never thought of that! No wonder he is the top person here!", thought in the mind of people who were listening to Myso's great philosophy. Most people were very impressed and nearly cried with his desire of supporting original including 2 pretty girls who by coincident happened to pass by the place and shared this great moment. Nobody knew if the girls' heart were moved by Myso's great idea or not, but it's hard to deny such a great person in the world I guess!
Anyway, forget about the pretty girls.. they were just passing by...
The great feeling only last for few seconds, maybe less than 10. Then when everybody was cooling down, their brain became more functional and started to think:
"Is it possible? One day one dollar? Yes! sounds very logic, but how long I should collect the money before I can afford one original software? Let say Photoshop which cost more than a thousand in local currency. One dollar x 365 days = 365 dollars a year and I need to collect at least 3 years to get one. When I get one, then I need another 3 years for the next software and this continued.. at the time I got my 4th software, it's more than 10 years time! At that time, the money value may depreciate, a software that costs a thousand 10 years back may cost 2 thousands now!"
People started to doubt about Myso's philosophy. They wondered since he's a true original software supporter (as he claimed), what is he using inside his computer now since he is as well collecting money to buy original software? As far as they understood Myso, he is someone who can never live without computer.
Thus, Mr L broke the silence and voiced out. He asked Myso, "Did you install Photoshop in your pc?" Myso replied "Of course!". "Then is it original?", asked Mr L with full curiosity. "I am thinking of change it to original also!", this is how Myso replied Mr L.
All people were stunned when listened to Myso's answer! With doubtful look, another guy Mr T quickly asked him, "Then is your Windows original?". Myso answered "I did bought an original XP before. It came with my notebook". Mr T was thinking "WTF??" and further asked him "But how about your current pc? No need to use original?". Myso scolded him "You crazy ar?!! Buy one windows already enough la! What for I buy the second one?".
Gosh, all the people there nearly fainted! Now they realized what Myso's philosophy on supporting original is all about! It is support BY MOUTH and not BY ACTION!
The people later discovered that Myso is an anime fanatic where he used to download all kinds of anime from the web using P2P technology. Don't blame him, he is just practicing his own philosophy - support original BY MOUTH!
Moral of the story: Don't be a NATO (No Action Talk Only)!

Sibu PC Fair 2008
Last weekend (28th - 30th Nov) was the year end PC fair in Sibu. As always it was held at Sibu Trade and Exhibition Centre. The building is formerly a warehouse of Rajang Port Authority Sibu, but then because the authority business was dropping, it was later being renovated and converted into a exhibition center. There were more than 40 stalls taking part in this PC fair.

I had being there twice and the crowd was very encouraging. Yet, it was quite a disappointment for me. There were not much computer hardware choices in the fair. Most of the companies taking part were selling notebooks as well as printers. Of course there were other PC accessories been sold, but the choices is really limited. Usually computer peripherals such as DVD-R, DVD writer and external hard disk are among the best selling items in a PC fair, but you hardly found these items in this PC fair. No wonder I had been walking round and round the booths, yet I couldn't find something that could really attract me.

Then, there was this SONY special design LCD monitor (or maybe is a tv? I am not sure). Actually I was not really impressed by its design, but I was attracted by the pretty Korean girl singing and dancing shown on the monitor! ;p
Another one will be this transparent CPU with neon light in it and a 21" Samsung LCD widescreen monitor just beside the CPU which only costs RM708 (I bought a 19" Samsung LCD for RM715 6 months ago!! *_* ) I also attracted by the game shown on that monitor! Maybe it is Call of Duty 5 I guess!

One more item that caught my attention would be this so called "All-in-1" Lexmark X2550 printer! It can be a printer, scanner, fax and also photocopy machine but it only costs RM163!! I couldn't believe my eyes! It's really too good to be true! About how long it will last, well I afraid that will be another matter which you really need to think of before buying. ;p

Well, for those who claimed himself as an original software supporter, there were also original software on sale such as this Kaspersky anti-virus software which is one of your favorite. So don't just talk! Please show your action! As you told the world you are practicing RM1 per day saving habit for original software, don't tell me by now you still can't collect RM59. So please PROVE to us that you are a true ori supporter by action but not bullshitting by MOUTH!!

Heard What Mysophobia Is?
Ever heard what mysophobia is? Yes, as far as the word "phobia" is concern, it's about fear, fearing of something.
Take some examples:
Acrophobia - Fear of heights
Insectophobia - Fear of insects
Hydrophobia - Fear of water
Herpetophobia - Fear of reptiles or creepy, crawling things
So what is mysophobia then?
Definition:
- Fear of dirt and uncleanliness, fear of germs and contamination
A.K.A:
- Germphobia
Symptoms:
i. Obsessive hand washing
ii. Avoid activities which claimed to be unclean by the individual
iii. Declaring the desire not the share any personal items
iv. Avoiding social situations which include a close group of people
What do I get from these information?

- I also realized that why some people claimed don't like to choose souvenirs brought back by their colleagues from a trip while others were busy choosing it, but afterward complained that they had been given the "left-over".
